"For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice." T.S. Elliot

Happy New Year to everyone. Hopefully everyone had a fun and safe night while enjoying the fireworks, watching the ball drop, and being with friends and family. Our family doesn't go out for New Years, instead we like to have friends over and make a great dinner and have some adult beverages while having a game night (if you haven’t played Apples to Apples, you have to try it out).

I love cooking food and sharing the deliciousness with friends and family. I decided I would try my hand on my first rack of lamb with an herb crust last night. I also made mashed potatos, but substituted half the potatoes with cauliflower (takes about half the carbs out), a red wine mushroom sauce and grilled garlic asparagus. Everyone agreed I would have to make it again soon.

Don't mind the Christmas napkins
